This position will be responsible for representing a full range of mortgage financing, as well as generating mortgage and development loans through solicitation of individual consumers, groups, real estate brokers and builders/developers; also, maintains an active call schedule for purposes of educating targeted business sources regarding the features and benefits of BOK Mortgage financing.

  • Serves as primary contact with all parties on individual loans originated from application to closing; duties may include:
    • Counseling and pre-qualifying potential home buyers
    • Completing applications
    • Obtaining all necessary support documents along with appropriate fee and lock-in information in compliance with FNMA, FHLMC, VA, FHA, and mortgage lending regulations includes of RESPA, Truth-in-Lending, and HMDA
    • Overseeing loan process by monitoring loan status and ensuring conformity with terms
    • Assisting in collecting additional documents and communicating loan status to all partie
  • Establish and maintain client referral relationships with individuals, groups, Realtors, builders/developers; make sales calls on potential or existing customers to develop new business or retain existing business
  • Prepare complete loan application package; input loan applications, assemble and prints all required documents
  • Communicate daily with loan processors, buyers, realtors, and builders on status of loan files
  • Input approval or declination information into computer system; prepare required notices to send to customer if loan denied; inform borrowers, realtors, builders, and closer of status of loans; Assist customers via telephone and walk-in customers directly to discuss loan programs and pre-qualifying requirements and procedures
  • Attend open houses, broker open trade fairs, RESAT, Women's Council, and APMW and other organizational meetings in order to promote mortgage financing
  • Train new real estate agents and brokers in areas of financing, qualifying buyers, and lending guidelines

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience as an originator, not including brokerage tenure. Must have demonstrated the ability to self source a minimum of $1M in production monthly and be willing to submit previous year’s W2, current paystub and updated resume to validate.

Candidates must possess the ability to grow his/her production while maintaining a positive attitude, strong work ethic and drive for success.

Successful originators will demonstrate the ability to work effectively with other team members and leverage internal partner relationships and referrals throughout the bank.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an originator, not including brokerage tenure
  • Ability to comprehend and implement complex financial concepts related to residential mortgage lending
  • An advanced understanding of sales and marketing of consumer products and the ability, under supervision, to present, sell and deliver such products to diverse individuals and groups in a professional, ethical and effective manner.
  • Solid problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in operation of Windows-based PC
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously
  • Good interpersonal and team building skills
