The Securities Sales/Service Specialist is primarily responsible for administrative sales support to the Financial Consultants/Client Advisors. He or she performs daily servicing activities with the goal of removing as many non-revenue producing task/actions as possible from the representative’s day-to-day activity.

  1. Account Servicing - Assists customers with inquiries and problem resolution by performing research on various systems (including but not limited to NetX360/Pershing, FIS, BlackDiamond, TOSS, Sales Force as well as other online systems) regarding safekeeping, billing, investment and deposit accounts. Performs the following tasks: Monitors and follows up on new business, respond to client inquires and requests, initiates all money movement, establishes NetXinvestor set-up and support; inputs data into CRM, generates client account applications, scan and file documents and performs financial planning case preparation.
  2. Technology Expert – Power user of firm’s technology platform including but not limited to NetX360, FIS, BlackDiamond, TOSS, Sales Force, Money Guide Pro etc. to provide price quotes, comparisons, and execution of trades.
  3. Customer Service - Maintains familiarity with the customer base in order to provide high quality customer service and to ensure optimum marketing potential; answers incoming phone calls and responds to email regarding customer’s inquiries regarding investment products. Maintains calendars and set appointment. May meet with client to obtain signature or deliver required documents.
  4. Client Retention – Manages regular client communications; birthday mailings, client appreciation events, premier service to top clients, marketing campaigns, referral campaigns, etc.

  • Understanding and knowledge of investment products and services
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 or 66 licenses
  • Excellent PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft office suite, NetX360, FIS, BlackDiamond, Sales Force and Money Guide Pro.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a competent and professional manner
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Economics and 1-2 years experience investment sales/operations or 4-5 years equivalent work related experience.
