Salesforce Developer & Data Integration Specialist

The Salesforce Data Integration Specialist is primarily responsible for how our Salesforce.com system function. In addition to the responsibilities of the Data Integration Analyst, they use their knowledge of system analysis and architecture to build and maintain the technical infrastructure that support our Salesforce CRM Platform and ETL (extract, transform & load) environment. The expectation is that they are responsible for troubleshooting issues related to our server environments, client technology, networks, storage and other technology supporting our enterprise CRM system. In addition, they will ensure designs and architectural standards are tested and implemented without service interruption.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Design integration software components including specifications, audit controls, exception and error handling, security, retention, procedural or recovery logic in order to construct integrations.
  2. Lead integration work stream of project teams in order to develop a solution design which is compliant with the architecture and standards of BOKF
  3. Identify opportunities for operational efficiency through innovation and integration
  4. Maintain and improve best practices and standardize processes across the Bank Data Warehouse systems.
  5. Develop, maintain and provide technical expertise in order to transfer knowledge of integration technology components to development and support teams.
  6. Work with management to estimate the level of effort, resource needs, and project duration and mentor delivery teams in all aspects of integration application design including application/data services, ETL, data movement, data replication and data distribution
  7. Develop, maintain and communicate an intimate understanding of Business and IT strategies

 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

 

 

  • Must have Salesforce Administrator Certification or Salesforce Developer Certification
  • Hands-on system development on the Salesforce Platform including custom SQL code, Visualforce, APEX classes and methods, API, and Lightning Components
  • Experience building integrations to/from Salesforce that utilize scripted data loader, web services, and cloud or on-premise middleware (Mulesoft preferred)
  • Experience with formal change management processes utilizing Change Sets, Eclipse, Force.com or other relevant change management tools
  • Strong Experience doing ETL on very large data sets
  • Highly proficient with SQL language
  • High level data analysis/manipulation
  • Ability to research and solve system and data integration issues
  • Lead technical requirements gathering, documentation and implementation
  • Work independently to coordinate and solve highly complex technical data communication and transformation issues.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to data transformation and flow
  • Analyze customer data specifications and provide gap analysis
  • Create documentation for future reference, training and support purposes
  • Write translation plans to move development work into various environments
  • Strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles and practices, and hands-on experience with business requirements gathering, analysis and data modeling
  • Strong experience to manage/maintain the Data Integration jobs in source code control
  • Create and maintain technical documentation
  • Perform peer code review when assigned
  • Ability to work independently while working on multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

 

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of hands-on-system development on the Salesforce Planform, 8-10 years of general experience in information technology, or 12-14 years of work-related experience in system analysis, data modeling, data warehousing, and project management.
