BOK Financial is seeking a talented leader to drive the transformation of its consumer payments business. This position will drive Consumer Payment Products Vision, Strategy & Innovation As the head of Consumer Payments, you’ll own and manage BOK Financials Consumer payment product strategy for a number of consumer payments including but not limited to Debit Card, Apple Pay and other tokenized payments as well as other emerging consumer payment types. You’ll manage a cross-functional team of product managers, designers and developers. In addition to delivering new features and functionality against key business and customer outcomes, you’ll be accountable for ensuring product performance is continually improving and for managing product dashboards and analytics. This is a critical and highly visible role requiring significant stakeholder influence and relationship management both internally and externally.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leads a team of product managers responsible for managing multiple product lines, including product pricing and fee structure to generate increased business volumes and maximize earnings; manages the activities of marketing, operations, production, and other staff support personnel to ensure timely and efficient delivery of assigned products. Coordinates multi-bank and multi-departmental cooperation and timely completion of assignments; identifies task and overall project management; and advises senior management.
  2. Develop a comprehensive product and marketing roadmap to deliver on business objectives to ensure that BOKF remains competitive in the assigned market; identifies opportunities for new banking products and services; analyzes product metrics to ensure products remain profitable, including internal customer trends to maximize business potential. Maximizes revenue opportunities and ensures that product line is marketable and competitive. Extensive contract negotiation with third parties when selecting technology and/or product solutions.
  3. Work cross-functionally with marketing, training, operations, IT and other groups to enhance BOKF’s competitive position in the market place by performing analysis to deliver upon the most effective marketing strategy and increase product demand; recommends strategies and goals for the marketing of assigned products including market direction, pricing, and cost planning.
  4. Performs analysis and communication of complex regulatory changes in order to ensure compliance and avoid costly civil and criminal penalties; executes strategies and tactics to change product and process accordingly.

 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

 

  • Advanced knowledge of marketing principles including product management, development, and positioning.
  • Advanced knowledge of consumer/small business banking products and services in area of responsibility.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork; including the ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments and affiliates in all states.
  • Strong time management, organization, and multi-tasking skills to effectively handle projects in a fast-paced, high volume, and deadline intensive environment.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills including database analysis, spreadsheet analysis, advertising, and research
  • Familiar with SQL concepts.
  • Advanced PC application skills including Word and Excel.

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a business related field and 10+ years’ experience in product management; Or 13+ years of equivalent work experience.
