Job Description

The Private Wealth Banking Portfolio Manager (PM). The PM will work for the Private Wealth Banking Regional Manager and will work directly with High Net Worth Clients, Relationship Managers, Private Wealth Underwriting, Private Wealth Reporting and Monitoring, Credit Services and Client Service Associates to manage relationships.  The PM is primarily responsible for working with RM’s to manage a wide variety of client relationships through proactive management of the client relationship, as well as consistent and timely identification and resolution of issues.  The PM will be involved with credit monitoring, file maintenance, ongoing covenant compliance verification and client communication. The PM will work with the Relationship Manager (RM) Managers to manage/complete loan renewals, clear past dues, collect documentation and other identified duties.  The RM at the direction of the Regional Manager may also work on special projects and other market duties related to portfolio management.  Portfolio management includes managing a full client relationship both lending and deposits.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will work in tandem with the Regional Manager and RM to monitor and manage existing credit/deposit relationships which includes note renewals, annual reviews, collection / review of current financial statements, collateral valuations, documenting and curing exceptions and covenant monitoring.
  • You will coordinate periodic reviews of RM loan portfolios to identify eligible relationships to transfer to Private Wealth Banking Segmentation portfolio.  The PM will monitor accounts for expansion/new business opportunities and will refer identified relationships to the appropriate RM or BOKF business partner.
  • You will compile reports necessary to monitor loan portfolio credit quality and compliance with policy/regulation.
  • You will make requests for information directly to the client and in turn handles client inquiries.  When new opportunities arise, communicates to the RM the opportunity but also has the knowledge about Bank’s products /services to communicate information to the client.
  • You may handle resolution of operational problems for clients.
  • You will implement approval or denial of overdrafts and outgoing wires as allowed per bank policy.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a commercial lending environment or 9-11 years of equivalent experience.

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of commercial and consumer lending practices, loan documentation, and loan servicing requirements.
  • Thorough knowledge of Private Wealth Banking processes, products, roles and objectives.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate products/services within the financial services industry.
  • Advanced understanding of credit underwriting, documentation, loan policy, and regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis including ratio and trend analysis and projections.
  • Specialized knowledge of specific markets in order to serve defined territories
