About the Role

You will develop and expand new ABL (asset based lending) business, retain clients, and close business by delivering five-star customer service; and you will have the ability to make decisions and advocate for your customers.

Uncovering and structuring an opportunity, serving the client, and meeting bank requirements will be integral to your role.  You will analyze a company’s performance, monitor those on-going relationships, and generate revenue by selling the full breadth of our products and services in your local community. 

You will be the ABL subject matter expert and will develop calling strategies with the corporate and commercial bankers across the BOKF footprint. You will partner and train them on how to identify ABL opportunities and keep them updated on marketplace trends.

What You Can Expect

You will work with your team to develop and execute a comprehensive relationship management and business development plan for ABL customers and prospects.  Your time will be focused on developing new business, working with senior lenders to co- call on clients and screen and qualify opportunities. You will oversee the memo and approval process alongside your credit team, present term sheets and proposals and lead client negotiations.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You’ll prospect, network, develop new ABL business, and cross-sell our services.
  • You’ll participate in community and professional activities to enhance our image and expand your network of business contacts for development of new business.
  • You’ll partner with credit on the approval, documentation, and booking processes. Analyzing and evaluating credit requests, writing loan commitments, and recommending appropriate risk rating and issue declinations.
  • You’ll monitor and manage existing ABL relationships, including credit renewal, review detailed analysis of current financial statements and collateral valuations, cash flow analysis, managing delinquencies, and document exceptions.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in business and 3-5 successful years in business development or at least 9-11 years experience in a related field.
