The Institutional Wealth Relationship Manager I is primarily responsible for the development and maintenance of less complex institutional client accounts. Provides administration of assigned accounts in accordance with governing instruments, fiduciary law, consistent with BOKF policy. Responsible for meeting defined business development and retention goals. Works closely with Department and/or group manager.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Effectively manages and administers assigned accounts. Calls on client contacts and account decision makers. Anticipates service needs and communicates enhancements. Resolves any questions or issues presented by clients or their providers.
  2. Oversees all services provided to the client by the Department. Coordinates services provided by other areas of Bank, including Wealth Management Services, Portfolio Management, Strategic Investment Advisory, Mineral Management, and Tax.
  3. Maintains and where possible improves profitability for assigned account relationships; reviews fee schedules; analyzes and evaluates fees and profitability of accounts.
  4. Ensures assigned accounts are in compliance with Wealth Management Group and Departmental policies and procedures, ERISA, governmental laws and regulations, and internal and external audit requirements; promotes operational efficiency and consistency; ensures each client is operating within Bank standards.
  5. Develops new business from existing clients through the identification of cross-sale opportunities for other Wealth Management products and services; develops and maintains collaborative business efforts between the client and other disciplines within the Bank; participates in community and professional activities in order to enhance the Bank’s image and expands personal network of business contacts for the development of referral business.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Working knowledge of accounting practices and principles in order to effectively evaluate the needs of institutional clients
  • With regard to retirement plans, working knowledge of the requirements of ERISA and related IRS regulations and an understanding of the principles and practices of participant recordkeeping for defined contribution plans, where applicable
  • Working knowledge of bond trustee law and regulations, where applicable
  • Working knowledge of investments, including different types of strategies and styles
  • Experienced in use of software applications, including word processing and spreadsheet applications, as well as Web-based systems utilized internally and externally
  • Very good oral, written and communication skills, including interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills including presenting in front of a group
  • Ability to analyze complex information and data in order to develop and recommend solutions in challenging projects
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and 1-2 years experience in a related field or 7-8 years equivalent experience.
