The CRM Team Manager/Salesforce Architect is responsible for planning and managing all activities within the CRM Team and serving as Salesforce Architect.  This includes supporting development, maintenance and enhancement of our Salesforce environment and other integrated services that power our sales teams.  In addition, the role requires deep knowledge and experience with Salesforce and the proven ability to provide optimal technical solutions to advance the platform. 

The individual is expected to build a deep understanding of our operational ecosystem opportunities and challenges, and drive the evolution of our architecture with overall ownership. He/she will partner closely with the business to understand their high-level strategies and develop a roadmap for how the CRM team will help them deliver on their goals and objectives.  The individual will manage the day-to-day work of the CRM team, determine priorities, schedule work assignments, evaluate, orient, counsel and provides the team with clear, concise direction and provide performance feedback.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Act as a visionary leader with ownership of our Salesforce architecture, ongoing management of its roadmap and success/quality of its frequent releases
  • Work with stakeholders to understand gaps and define future state requirements, evaluate new features and strategic architectural options.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners for the definition, planning, modeling, governance and implementation/revamp of capabilities.
  • Own adoption of the Salesforce Platform ecosystem by functions, data integrity and internal customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot key issues and demonstrate ability to drive successful resolution.
  • Manage a team of 3 Salesforce professionals and their day-to-day activities to ensure work efforts are aligned with our commitments to our business partners.



  • More than 10+ years of IT experience with at least 6 years of Salesforce technologies that includes
  • Experience managing a team, ability to motivate and provide leadership
  • Good understanding of Salesforce Managed Packages
  • Salesforce reporting & dashboards
  • Custom development, integration and Data Migration experience.
    Experience in Sales Cloud is required.  Service and Community Cloud is a plus.
    Knowledge of APEX Code Development Experience
  • Knowledge of User Interface languages: HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, JSON, AJAX is a plus
  • Expertise in Salesforce technology stack (APEX, Visual Force, Lightning components)
  • Experience in SQL Server or other RDBMS skills are required
  • Experience in building Salesforce Triggers
  • Familiarity with Process Builder, Flow and Workflow Rules
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce Security Model
  • Strong Knowledge of Salesforce API and connectivity using REST and SOAP Web Services
  • Proficient with different Versions Control System and Tools: SVN, Git, etc.
  • Possesses detailed knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle methodologies such as Agile
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong partnerships skills with Sales and Product teams
  • Good understanding of Java is a plus
  • Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent is required
