The Corporate Card Account Manager is primarily responsible for partnering with Corporate Card Client Experience Consultants, Relationship Managers, Treasury Management Officers (TMO’s) and Corporate Card Sales Specialist to develop relationship plans for existing and new Corporate Card clients after the onboarding process is completed. Manage existing and new Corporate Card clients, and work to identify opportunities to optimize customer relationships and drive portfolio growth through program utilization. Prepare presentations and proposals for existing Card clients, explaining the various services offered, and identifying payment services that benefit the client.  Leverage industry benchmarking tools from Master Card and other internal data analytics to increase customer loyalty and retention through Card account management. Maintain communication with Relationship Manager, TMO and Corporate Card Client Experience Consultants to keep them abreast of client activities and identify business opportunities. Participate in pricing of products and services. Additional duties may include and are not limited to contract management, forecasting portfolio card volumes and rebates, rebate payment management, service escalation point of contact and building strong partnerships with internal coverage partners.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Maintain client satisfaction, support and drive portfolio growth initiatives, work to create client loyalty and client retention, cultivate relationships with clients within assigned portfolio and work with internal partners to execute client strategies and respond to client needs
  2. Analyzes portfolio and proactively monitors portfolio metrics to achieve desired growth results.  Develops and coordinates production of proposals, year to date relationship reviews, customer/product profitability analysis and communicates comprehensive product functionality descriptions appropriate to the client’s needs. Responsible for working with departments across the bank to gather details for proposals with existing Corporate Card clients
  3. Be a subject matter expert in all Corporate Card products, including on-line tools and file feeds. Use knowledge/expertise to answer client’s questions on how to use the products and also evaluate other product solutions to business problems. Continue to grow knowledge and stay abreast of current events within Payments Industry. Leverage knowledge to grow assigned portfolio and increase knowledge of internal partners
  4. Train and educate clients on product benefits. Coordinates with Relationship Managers and TMO’s in getting all necessary information, documentation and credit approvals to support and increase spend or product usage. Participates in the sales process by managing the creation and maintenance of Salesforce opportunity records. Monitors weekly Salesforce Dashboards and resolves discrepancies between Sales Opportunities and Implementations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Thorough knowledge of Corporate Card products, i.e., T&E, ePayables, Fleet, Prepay and vendor tools such as SmartData, InControl and TSYS (TS1)
  • Thorough knowledge of Bank operations
  • Strong organizational skills in order to prioritize and complete various time critical and extensive tasks within assigned deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to function professionally at many different levels

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related degree with 1-2 years of experience in sales or 7-8 years work related experience with 2-3 years in sales related experience.
