  • Is interested in a high-visibility position that interacts daily with the most senior level of the bank’s leadership team
  • Has a keen eye for a good story, and can identify exciting initiatives taking place in the bank that can be publicized internally (through the company’s intranet) or externally (through the media.)

We’re looking for someone who is…


  • Great writer – can interview business leaders and use insights from those conversations to create compelling written content
  • Fearless – can pick up the phone and call a reporter and pitch a story
  • Executive presence – comfortable interviewing leaders from throughout the bank, including the CEO


This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field and 7-10 years’ experience in public relations or corporate communications.


Here’s what you’ll be doing…


Your primary responsibility will be helping business leaders communicate their strategic objectives, current initiatives, or business successes within the company and externally through the media. This includes:


  • Writing for our intranet
  • Interacting with the national, local, and trade media
  • Creating communications plans for major initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, personnel changes, financial results, change management initiatives, annual benefits open enrollment, etc.
  • Planning and executing internal employee events


Additionally, the successful candidate will have some or all of the following:


  • For-profit business experience
  • Experience working with publicly-traded companies
  • Knowledge of AP style
  • Basic understanding of corporate financial statements
  • Additional talents are appreciated and can serve as a differentiator! Photography, video production, graphic design, etc.
