The Director, Marketing Insights and Analytics will be responsible for leveraging data, insights, and analysis to support optimization and evolution of BOK Financial’s (BOKF) marketing strategy, specifically in the areas of digital channel advancement and client satisfaction. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this senior level position will lead a team of analytics professionals focused on defining and executing an on-going vision to deliver a holistic, efficient, and creative approach to marketing efforts across all digital and offline channels. This individual will be responsible for measuring and recommending actions to executive and senior level management, lines of business and Corporate Marketing about ways to enhance the ROI in marketing content, tools, campaigns (online and offline), and digital assets. This individual will manage both internal and external relationships to advance the personalization experience, the client satisfaction experience (CX), ensure access to requisite data and expertise, and cultivate support for new ideas and approaches. This position will serve as the organization’s subject matter expert on all marketing campaigns’ success measurements/metrics.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Data and Analytics Strategy: Establish and gain agreement on key metrics and implement strategy designed to influence those key metrics through investments in marketing content, tools, campaigns and digital assets. Establish performance targets, partner to create measurement strategy, capture required online and offline data, analyze results, interpret trends, and provide actionable insight to improve performance. Partner with internal and external teams to collect data needed to measure and optimize discrete channel-by-channel performance and multi-channel interactions. Manage vendors to ensure appropriate and timely trafficking of assets and data delivery. Actively manage data and analytics resources of vendors, ensuring alignment of data and measurements
  2. Client Experience: Advance the personalization framework via partnership with the Digital Solutions team. Manage continuous improvement of the client experience/satisfaction function within the organization. Advise on design for surveys designed to measure point-in-time or long-term client experience
  3. Measurement and Analysis: Implement measurement across all media, including paid, organic, SEO, social, and offline. Support internal/external toolset(s) utilized in analytic efforts. Apply methodologies, such as design of experiments (DOE) or experimental design, to determine cause and effect relationships between marketing actions and business outcomes, and responder/media mix analytics in order to inform media placement. Create and oversee production of monthly marketing dashboards that visualize key metrics and provide clear, actionable commentary for discussion at monthly business reviews

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

  • Strong analytical background with strategic and tactical experience in database marketing, segmentation modeling, responder analytics, and campaign measurement required
  • Experience with web analytics platform required (Google Analytics strongly preferred)
  • Experience using data analysis tools (R and Python preferred) to develop predictive statistical models
  • Knowledge of tagging and SEO strongly preferred
  • Experience with digital campaign diagnostic tools with emphasis on those covering viewability and non-human detection
  • Extensive knowledge of user flow connections across multiple visits and devices over time, stitching both online and offline data together

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Analytics or a related field and 8-10 years applied analytics experience or 12+ years equivalent analytics work experience. Advanced degree preferred
