This position will be responsible for management of the Credit Services Workflow and Imaging Systems and Teams.   Looking for a driven manager who will take ownership of the teams and processes reporting to them as well as the technology that supports those groups.  This person will need to be a champion of the technology from a business process standpoint, focused on improving the organizations utilization of the technology.  This position works as a liaison between Credit Services management and IT on workflow related projects, supporting the business requirements, testing and implementation assistance along with our information technology partners.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Identifies, develops, recommends, and implements operational standards. Provides guidelines and provides performance feedback; audit commentaries and ensures minimal losses. Ensures work procedures are consistent and in compliance with applicable policies/regulations. Works directly with IS, Business Analysts, Compliance Management and Finance Management.
  2. Defines department objectives; develops operating plan; plans and administers budgets; identifies savings and efficiencies; prepares management reports, expense reports, budget variances, operational statistics and quality reports.
  3. Establishes working relationships with managers, regulators, and auditors. Reviews, researches, and analyzes effects of governmental regulations.
  4. Manages departmental activity via first line supervisors; determines work priorities; recommends additions to staff; exercises usual authority of a manager concerning performance appraisal, salary recommendations, discipline, counseling, incentives and terminations.
  5. Assumes responsibility for department operations; researches and resolves problems. Assures resolution of problems by working directly with Business Analysts. Oversees areas of identified risk and maintains appropriate review processes.
  6. Directs study and establishment of systems, procedures, methods, and forms. Participates as a Loan Operations representative in M&A and conversions; serves on committees; participates in collaborative study, RFPs and design of new products.

 

 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:

 

  • Extensive knowledge of HMDA, TILA, RESPA, FCRA, SCRA, UDAAP and other regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of production management, operations and delivery systems, and applicable regulations
  • Extensive knowledge of loan operations and workflow efficiency
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, reporting requirements and reconciliation processes; General Accepted Accounting Practices, (GAAP)
  • Excellent ability to collaborate with business partners in a productive and creative manner
  • Excellent PC skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, written and managerial skills
  • Excellent managerial skills; ability to motivate and provide leadership
  • Excellent research and problem solving skills
  • Ability to manage multi-functions, multi-locations, lead projects or work on cross-departmental teams
  • Ability to multi-task with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and objectives

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Financial Accounting and/or a Law Degree with 9+ year’s loan operations experience with at least 6 years experience in a management capacity or equivalent experience of 14+ years in loan operations. Preference is Master’s Degree or Law Degree Extensive knowledge of legal documentation & interpretive skills; syndications/participations & complex commercial credit background in loan operations along with excellent regulatory/compliance background , systems knowledge and project management
