Summary

The Hardware Asset Manager role is pivotal in managing IT hardware assets and driving substantial gains in the maturity of Hardware Asset Management (HAM) at BOK Financial. This position focuses heavily on Hardware Asset Management, leveraging ServiceNow. The role includes maintaining hardware asset inventories and designing, maturing, and implementing required business processes that fulfill the needs of BOK Financials IT and Business partners.

Job Description

The Hardware Asset Manager performs a critical role in managing IT hardware assets for BOK Financial. This individual works as part of an IT Asset Management team, reporting to the ITAM Program Manager. Leveraging partnerships with professionals across multiple departments to efficiently manage the bank’s IT hardware assets. The Hardware Asset Manager operates in a highly collaborative, cross-organizational team environment and acts as the leading expert on the IT hardware asset lifecycle and the business processes that support it.

How You'll Spend Your Time

•You will be owning Hardware Asset Management (HAM) within the scope of the broader IT Asset Management (ITAM) program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• You will be overseeing hardware inventories and designing robust business processes to support the entire hardware asset lifecycle at BOK Financial, leveraging ServiceNow and the HAM Pro module.
• You will be developing process and optimizing workflows for hardware request, lifecycle management, IT purchase, receipt, and deployment. To include: data analysis and reporting, data auditing, asset reclamation, and overall IT Asset/ Model Lifecycle monitoring, ensuring the needs of Hardware Asset Management are baked into BOK Financials' ‘business as usual’.
• You will be monitoring key metrics to ensure the effectiveness of hardware asset management processes and driving continual service improvement to meet the evolving needs of our internal customers.
• You will be collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and support for hardware asset management initiatives.

 

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and ­­/ or 3-5 years of directly related experience in ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.Single application data flows across multiple applications

  • Experience in Hardware Asset Management, preferably with ServiceNow.
  • Strong understanding of the IT hardware asset lifecycle and supporting business processes.
  • Ability to work in a highly-collaborative, cross-organizational team environment.
  • Self starter - able to identify a need and drive ones self toward a solution.

  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to provide resolution to problems of a moderate complexity.
