Job Description

The Business Architect will work closely with senior architects to guide the enterprise through transformation and optimization initiatives, supporting the formulation of business strategy, outcomes, and capabilities. You will collaborate across IT and the Business to assist senior architects to build and implement a roadmap for business capabilities that are seamlessly integrated and improve the value of process and data integration. You will need to learn and understand the complexities of the organization, processes, information, and technologies to contribute to future-state architectural solutions to best realize the organization strategy. How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will work with senior architects to assess and improve business processes and workflows, recommending enhancements for efficiency.
  • You will aid in collecting and recording business requirements, and help convert these requirements into architectural plans to align with business objectives and technological solutions.
  • You will assist senior architects in developing detailed business architecture models and contribute to the definition and documentation of business capabilities and functions to achieve organizational objectives.
  • You will work with tech teams to design and implement innovative solutions that align with business goals and meet architectural standards.
  • You will foster relationships with key stakeholders, convey architectural concepts, and participate in decision-making discussions.
  • You will aid in change management by spotting potential risks linked to proposed changes and help devise strategies to lessen disruption and ensure successful implementation of new processes and technologies.
  • You will stay updated with relevant industry trends, technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement within the organization.
  • You will aid in creating and documenting architectural artifacts and preparing reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree in business, information systems or related discipline and 5+ years of business and technology solution experience and/or business analysis/analytics experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    Familiarity of different types of business and operating models.
•    Familiarity in some aspects of designing and constructing business capabilities, value streams, business processes, and organizational structures.
•    Familiarity of business process management, workflow and integration methods and tools.
•    Familiarity of design and modeling tools to develop business architecture deliverables.
•    Knowledge of facilitation of projects and products, and organization change management.
•    Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects.
•    Proficiency in documentation and presentation tools.
•    Proficient anticipatory, statistical and information analysis skills
•    Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a passion for business architecture and strategic planning
