Job Description

The Account Executive II serves as client service lead for small to mid-size clients including strategic planning responsibilities.  This position is expected to consistently provide leadership, excellent customer service to ensure that client expectations and goals are consistently met.  Promotes profitability of company through maintaining acceptable level of client retention and growth of existing business and procurement of new business.  Must meet productivity standards, effectively manage time, and prioritize work effectively.  As the Strategic Partner Lead, this role is responsible for leading the development and ongoing relationship with our carrier and vendor partners.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will serve as a client service lead to designated clients and act as the primary contact between clients and insurance carriers.
  • You will apply knowledge of insurance policies and advice to all clients
  • You will manage a book of business comprised of various funding methods
  • You will work in close collaboration with Advisors, Clients and Analysts to plan strategy, financial arrangements, and any customized contractual transactions that are required
  • You will manage marketing efforts during the renewal and new business process.
  • You will conduct employee facing communication meetings with may require travel to multiple locations
  • You will coordinate and oversee year-end review, plan strategy meetings and renewal with your internal team
  • You will lead and participate in special projects as needed

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 3-5 years’ experience in a lending, financial services environment or 9-11 years of equivalent work experience.

Licensing and Continuing Education:

This position requires a license in Life and Health (for EB) or Property and Casualty including Excess and Surplus (for RM). Must remain current with continuing education requirements. BOKFI encourages the pursuit of professional designations.
