Job Description

The Account Reconciliation Analyst is primarily responsible for account reconciliation services and special handling of statements and reports for Commercial Clients. Ensures work is completed accurately within established period. Additionally, this position functions to interpret data to make appropriate workflow recommendations, process account reconciliation reports, assist in drafting procedures, and participate on projects and conversions.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will prepare monthly management reports, such as volume and quality reports and operating statistics.
  • You will process bank statements and research rejected items and exceptions.
  • You will receive reports for reconciliation- review those reports for required maintenance, flag items to be returned, complete log sheets, and perform maintenance on reconciliation accounts.
  • You will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of reconciliation accounts utilizing our internal systems, ensuring that the input is completed on time.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an associate degree in business administration or accounting and 1-2 years related experience or 3-4 years’ equivalent work-related experience.

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Working knowledge of accounting practices and principles.
  • Good PC skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone etiquette,
  • Ability to prioritize and work well in high-pressured environments.
  • Ability to meet deadline requirements.
