The Wealth Management Image Lab Analyst The Mineral Management Image Lab Analyst is primarily responsible for analyzing complex accounts in multiple states and banks using advanced levels of analysis and judgment to determine the indexing requirements. The trust and mineral management account documents and other documents are directly related to compliance with internal bank policies as well as state and federal banking regulations in addition to serving client needs.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Analyzes imaged complex account documents that are not indexed to determine and assign appropriate index codes related to multiple document variables for proper routing to Mineral Management. Validates the image quality for accounts scanned into the image system at the Image Lab as well as accounts imported into the image system via external sources, makes corrections to document assembly, supplies missing index values and rescans images when necessary. Requires knowledge of extensive types of account documents and their importance to the Mineral Management process to avoid significant risk to the bank.
  2. Prepares physical account documents for capture to the imaging system to include prepping documents into a scan-able format, separating documents into batch types, creating batch header sheets and/or inserting generic separator sheets.
  3. Monitors and provides reporting when necessary for accounts imported through fax.
  4. Accurately and timely ensures the delivery of all Mineral Management account documents after completion of scanning in order to support Mineral Management to meet their obligations to perform research, communication resolutions of problems to customers, and resolve questions and problems presented by clients concerning transactions in their accounts and day-to-day operational issues.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Thorough knowledge of Mineral Management account documentation, including collateral documents
  • Exceptional analytical skills required to decision and accurately index values related to multiple account document variables, property title concepts and legal principals, written contract principals, title recordation requirements, probate of estates principals and conveyance instrument fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of estates in land
  • Working knowledge and understanding of property title concepts and legal principals, written contract principals, title recordation requirements, probate of estates principals and conveyance instrument fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of mineral royalties, working interest, overrides, well production units, division orders, mineral lease characteristics, and conservation commission regulations, report generation, and information gathering
  • Excellent customer relation skills focused on delivering superior service quality
  • Good PC skills including spreadsheet and word processing applications and proprietary applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must thrive in a multi-tasked environment and work well under pressure
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Ability to adjust priorities to changing circumstances in fast paced, deadline driven, heavy volume atmosphere.
  • Strong ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Good interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
  • Basic PC skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Ability to work with and utilize different types of office equipment to include joggers, scanners, etc.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree in Business plus 2-3 years experience.
