About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of assigned properties to keep us operational, while  meeting corporate and departmental standards. You’ll perform a variety of maintenance including electrical, HVAC system, plumbing, construction, building relocation, and renovation of assigned corporate premises.

You will partner with different areas of the bank to ensure our employees are able to do their best work each and every day.

You will coordinate with your peers to ensure tasks are assigned and the team is staying on schedule.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You’ll perform furniture repairs, be instrumental in moving, relocations and reconfigurations of work stations.   
  • You’ll make periodic inspections of assigned properties and prepare written reports on their condition for the Facilities Manager and ensure the proper upkeep and maintenance.
  • You’ll performs minor construction including adjusting doors, repairing dry wall, painting, carpet replacement, Ceiling tiles systems and lock & key systems.
  • You’ll  execute repairs and replace electrical components such as lights, light switches, fixtures ballasts and you are able to trouble shoot and repair low voltage office electrical systems.
  • You’ll  carry out minor plumbing repairs including sinks, faucets, toilets and lawn irrigation systems.

We'd Like to Talk to You

COMMUNICATION: You will need exceptional verbal and written communication to express yourself clearly and concisely to internal and external clients.

FACILITY MANAGEMENT: You have basic knowledge of facilities and/or property management and strong working knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems.

FLEXIBILITY: You’ll work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations with overtime hours as necessary.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree and 3-5 years of experience; or 6-8 years of work related experience.

  • Basic knowledge of facilities and/or property management
  • Good interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical skills in order to assist with project budgets, financial planning and interpret architectural specifications and drawings.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC and/or electrical systems
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations
  • Working knowledge of plumbing
  • Ability to work overtime hours as job load and work circumstances require     
  • Maintain the ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
