Job Description

The Personal Banker Team Lead is an emerging leader who delivers exceptional client experiences while helping clients achieve their financial goals through consultative, needs-based conversations and trusted financial guidance. This role demonstrates mastery of consumer banking products, relationship development, and client advocacy while serving as a peer leader who supports the growth, development, and success of teammates through coaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. The Personal Banker Team Lead drives individual and team performance by promoting sales discipline, operational excellence, digital adoption, and sound risk management practices. As a trusted extension of leadership, this role reinforces business objectives, supports organizational initiatives, and models the behaviors and accountability necessary to advance the BOKF brand and client experience.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate's degree and a minimum of 4 years of sales, customer service and/or retail experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust, uncover client needs, resolve issues, and influence outcomes.
  • Effective written communication skills, demonstrated professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Advanced consultative selling and relationship-building skills focused on client acquisition, retention, and deepening relationships.
  • Strong coaching, mentoring, and peer leadership skills with the ability to influence performance and share best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills, including the ability to navigate complex client situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organization, and execute with a high degree of accountability.
  • Advanced digital proficiency with the ability to navigate multiple systems, promote digital adoption, and support change initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer banking products, services, and retail banking operations.
  • Working knowledge of lending, mortgage, investment, business banking, and treasury solutions to support referrals and holistic client conversations.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, internal controls, and compliance standard
