The mobanker The mobanker is primarily responsible for building, expanding, and retaining client relationships while providing exemplary levels of client experience. mobankers provide financial solutions to existing and prospective clients by assessing their financial needs and offering products and services to help clients accomplish their financial goals. mobankers assist clients with account service and maintenance requests, transactions, and problem resolution. mobankers are expected to understand and adhere to applicable banking regulations, banking center operations procedures and contribute to the efficient operation of their banking center.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Resolves a variety of simple to complex client problems while ensuring the highest level of client experience. Processes requests for funds transfers, account changes, assists clients with unauthorized transaction claims and performs account research for clients, often under difficult circumstances. Uses available resources for problem resolution, which may involve analysis of information received from other internal BOKF departments. Must be knowledgeable of and able to navigate through deposit and transaction automation applications. Provide clients guidance and navigation through various delivery channels.
  2. Meets with individual and small business clients and prospects to assess their financial needs; consultatively offers a full range of products such as deposit accounts, loans, and credit cards. Opens new deposit accounts and originates and closes consumer and small business loans. Educates clients about bank services that provide additional convenience such as online banking, BillPay, E-Statements, and mobile and ATM deposit capabilities. Conducts research to determine the banking products the prospect uses and the financial service needs the prospect has. Advises the client on financial solutions and provides prompt follow-up.
  3. Contributes to and supports our collaborative, team-oriented environment. Communicates openly with team and displays deep ownership of responsibilities, including preparing for banking center risk assessments, following operations procedures such as maintaining logs and records, BSA guidelines, and understanding new account disclosures and documentation. Opens and/or closes banking center as needed.
  4. Assists clients with a variety of transactions, many including large volumes of cash (i.e., cashes checks, processes checking and savings account withdrawals, processes checking and savings deposits and balances within standards, etc.) while seeking opportunities to further develop client relationships.
  5. Identifies opportunities to refer clients and prospects to BOK Financial Securities, mobank Mortgage, Treasury Services, Trust, Commercial Banking, etc.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills
  • Working knowledge of branch banking operations
  • Working knowledge of consumer lending and regulatory requirements (full technical knowledge of core branch banking products and working knowledge of non-core products such as: mortgage, investment, business banking)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and courteously, and to gain information from team/clients
  • Ability to follow established standards and use judgment to determine when appropriate to escalate
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) in order to balance accounts
  • Working knowledge of PC; good 10 key skills
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of high school degree or equivalent and a minimum of 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience; a college degree is a plus.
