Job Description
The Data Quality Manager is responsible for the oversight of enterprise-level data quality including data profiling, measurement, process analysis, documentation, issue detection, root cause analysis, proposed issue resolution, issue remediation testing, and reporting of data. This position works with lines of business and technical data stewards to solve data problems and to define, document, and maintain business and data architecture artifacts to promote a sustainable organization-wide data culture. The candidate works closely with data management and governance teams to drive automation and leverage Gen AI capabilities as relevant. The role requires cross functional visibility among the company’s enterprise data stakeholders to ensure data quality is managed in a manner that is: a) consistent with and supports business strategy defined by management; b) compliant with policies and regulations; and c) operationally efficient for the organization.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will oversee enterprise data quality across profiling, measurement, issue detection, remediation, testing, and reporting to ensure trusted data.
- You will lead and support the data steward community by delivering training, frameworks, metrics, and governance practices embedded into daily operations.
- You will partner with business and IT teams to define data requirements and integrate data quality into systems, projects, and operational priorities.
- You will define and maintain business and data architecture artifacts, including data domains, glossaries, business rules, and enterprise information maps.
- You will advance automation and analytics, including GenAI and agentic AI, to improve efficiency, controls, and scalability of data quality processes.
- You will support risk management and regulatory compliance while setting performance objectives and developing talent within the data quality team.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Statistics, Computer Science or other related field, and a minimum of 12+ years of related experience in a data driven and governance-focused role with a publicly traded financial institution.
- Expert knowledge of data quality practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets
- Knowledge of regulations including CCPA, GDPR, HIPPA, SOX, GLBA
- Strong SQL required
- Experience designing software and data integrity tests
- Experience with Visio or other data modeling tools
- Experience with Power BI preferred
