Job Description
The Financial Center Leader (FCL) is responsible for overall branch performance, including team leadership, client experience, operational execution, and business growth. This role leads the development of a high-performing team through intentional coaching, consistent feedback, and structured development routines, including weekly observational coaching and monthly one-on-one sessions. The FCL is accountable for translating enterprise strategies into actionable plans, ensuring daily and weekly routines drive meaningful client engagement, deepened relationships, and expanded product utilization.
In this role, you will actively contribute to business development by building community connections, networking, and leading proactive outreach efforts. You will oversee the delivery of a differentiated, consultative client experience tailored to a diverse and often high-net-worth client base, requiring a strong executive presence and the ability to navigate complex financial needs. The FCL partners closely with internal stakeholders across business lines to deliver comprehensive solutions while maintaining strict adherence to risk and compliance standards. Success in this role requires strong leadership, emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- Lead and Develop Your Team:
Conduct weekly observational coaching for each team member, providing real-time feedback and actionable development. Hold monthly one-on-one meetings focused on growth, performance, and career development while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. - Drive Business Development:
Lead proactive business development efforts through networking, community involvement, and structured calling activities. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of clients and prospects, with a focus on small business and relationship expansion. - Deliver a High-Quality Client Experience:
Ensure the delivery of a consistent, elevated, and consultative client experience. Support your team in conducting meaningful financial conversations that deepen relationships and position BOK Financial as the client’s primary bank. - Execute Strategy and Drive Results:
Translate organizational strategies into daily routines and behaviors that drive growth, retention, and profitability. Use data and performance insights to guide decision-making and continuously improve results. - Oversee Branch Operations and Risk Management:
Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Ensure operational excellence across all transactions and mitigate risk through strong oversight and controls. - Collaborate Across the Organization:
Partner with internal business lines to deliver comprehensive financial solutions and support client needs, particularly in complex or high-value situations. - Engage in the Community:
Represent the bank in the local market through community involvement and leadership activities, strengthening the brand and building meaningful relationships.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors Degree in Business or a related field of study and 3-5 years of directly related experience in management/supervisory capacity or 5-7 years of equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to motivate teammates through in-person and virtual coaching methods, while providing leadership and excellent team-building skills
- Ability to make empowered leadership decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proven ability to coach, develop and delegate to achieve common goals
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills including effective communication to build partnerships to achieve business outcomes
- Ability to effectively support teammate engagement and the client experience while driving results
- Excellent research and problem-solving ability combined with leadership to foster an empowered culture
- Advanced knowledge of consultative needs-based concepts for client engagement
- Excellent client experience, relationship-building, and business development skills
- Advanced knowledge of consumer financial products and services (full technical knowledge of core branch banking products and working knowledge of non-core products such as: mortgage, investment, and business banking)
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of applicable consumer laws and government regulations
