Job Description

The Technical Analyst III is primarily responsible for supporting mission critical application systems software and interfaces requiring technical and systems knowledge along with advanced troubleshooting skills. Provide day-to-day support for complex applications systems including supporting business users working with multiple internal and external applications with critical interfaces having a significant direct impact to our customers.  Help enable business success and create raving fans with business users by providing top notch support for systems including coordinating and participating in application development, testing, disaster recovery planning/testing, change management/deployment, and daily support.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will utilize troubleshooting skills to provide day-to-day support for the operation of complex mission critical application systems.
  • You will be a Subject Matter Expert grow technical understanding of processing and data flows across multiple assigned applications including: software, system integrations, and network connectivity with tiered on premise and cloud environments.
  • You will track metrics and trends of application performance and remediate issues.
  • You will work extensively with Wealth Management personnel and management utilizing your business acumen and project management skills to help facilitate meetings to research and resolve support issues and write business and functional requirements to provide solutions to business requests. 
  • You will be responsible for systems process analysis, design, simulation, testing, implementation, application configuration, deployments, and disaster recovery
  • You will analyze, design, plan, test, document, deploy, and support systems software and programs.
  • You will perform business process modeling (includes logical modeling, data retention, and business process modeling) for simple projects.
  • You will understand and create data flow documentation (includes data mapping and conversion mapping).
  • You will develop simple to complex stored procedures and provide technical requirements/specifications for console applications. 
  • You will perform batch job scheduling responsibilities including writing, reading, and troubleshooting job plans.
  • You will develop and maintain application documentation; define and maintain application configuration.
  • You will employ established IT governance policies, project architecture methodology, and technology standards.
  • You will drive change control processes as applied to supported applications and projects; drive support incident management. 

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and ­­/ or 3-5 years of directly related experience in ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.Single application data flows across multiple applications

• Application and Infrastructure Troubleshooting skills
• Intermediate SQL skills a must
• .Net debugging skills preferred
• Scripting experience for example, Java Script or other tools
• Employ RDBMS principles in the design of simple to moderate data structures.
• Single application data flows across multiple applications
• Software integration, system integration, and technology used
• Tiered environments (e.g. Deployment tiered - development, testing, UAT, production, DR and Multi-Tiered application environments – Web and Application (internal and external), Database, Messaging etc…)
• Application disaster recovery
• IT and IS standards and concepts
• Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to provide resolution to problems of a moderate complexity. Enjoy working in teams and across departments to achieve business objectives while building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor and create raving fans. Influence change by being flexible and adaptable.
