Job Description

The Home Loan Sales Manager is primarily responsible for assigned sales teams engaged in originating residential home loans. This role oversees the production/origination of teams as assigned, including but not limited to, new market research, office locations, public relations, program development, market conditions and trends. The Home Loan Sales Manager supervises, trains, monitors, and motivates production personnel and is responsible for daily operation of the team including recruitment and development of employees.  This position maintains an active call schedule for purposes of educating realtors/builders regarding the features and benefits of BOKF’s home loan financing.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will effectively communicate across all levels, with internal and external clients, as well as talk to realtors, processors, closers, sales leaders, and more.
  • You will get loans to closing by helping team members see the broader implications.
  • You’ll serve as a resource to your loan officers in marketing, new business development, loan analysis, and servicing.
  • You’ll use multiple systems to access information in a very structured way.
  • You will ensure CRA participation within the marketing area to include low-to-moderate income families and minority lending outreach through meetings, program development, and training.
  • You will define team objectives, develop your operating plan, prepare reporting, and support the Regional Manager in market analysis, product development, performance standards, and quality to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years’ experience; or 8 years of equivalent work-related experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage lending guidelines and regulations (FHA, VA Conventional, FHLMC, FNMA and private investor).
  • Advanced knowledge of secondary marketing and pricing, insuring, and post-closing.
  • Advanced knowledge of various state lending laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skill, sales and customer relations skills.
  • NMLS required.
