Job Description
The Senior High Net Worth (Sr HNW) Mortgage Processor position is primarily responsible for the mortgage credit risk associated with processing the most complex conforming, jumbo and portfolio residential mortgage loans. This position ensures a high level of credit quality by making sound and well-documented loan processing decisions based on a thorough knowledge of the bank’s and the secondary markets’ policies and guidelines and an in-depth analysis of loan documentation and data; ensures adherence to various investor’s guidelines bank product guidelines and state and federal government regulations; makes loan origination and processing decisions in timely and decisive manner while maintaining and managing a processing pipeline to achieve service level agreements; responsible for providing active support to all parties involved in each loan file. The Sr HNW Processor provides best in class customer service with a ‘what can I do’ approach to personal accountability; enhances business relationships as a mortgage credit risk, creates loan level solutions through proactive problem solving, analyzing complex loan scenarios. The Sr HNW processor will typically carry a greater pipeline and provide feedback to the Ops Manager regarding HNW processing best practices. The Sr HNW processor will provide support to the HNW Loan Processors at the direction of management.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will make credit risk and loan processing decisions for High Net Worth loans by analyzing complex loan documentation and applying guidelines.
- You will interact with third-party vendors to order and update credit reports, appraisals, and other necessary verifications.
- You will maintain thorough knowledge of market conditions, bank policies, and secondary market guidelines, staying current on updates.
- You will input and monitor appraisal information to ensure timely delivery and compliance with Federal Guidelines.
- You will review underwriting conditions with borrowers, obtain additional documents, and respond to quality control and assurance reports to meet all guidelines.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree in a business related field and at least 5 years mortgage loan production experience; or 6-7 years related experience in mortgage loan processing with a minimum of 2 years processing HNW loans
- Ability to apply sound credit risk principles and practices in making mortgage loan processing decisions in a timely and decisive manner.
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage origination/processing underwriting procedures, policies, guidelines and regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of credit, income and asset analysis and property review and valuation.
- Thorough knowledge of mortgage investor’s guidelines.
- Ability to lead by example and participate as an effective member; conducts self as a professional.
- Ability to effectively solve problems.

- High degree of attention to detail.
