About the Role

You’re an analyst and an author of moderately complex credit approval documents working in a deadline-driven environment. Your primary responsibility will be reviewing loans and renewals in the Healthcare industry. You will analyze quarterly financial statements, conduct trend analysis and exception reporting for loans and treasury products, working collaboratively with Credit Product Underwriters and other Credit Specialists. Accuracy is critical. Portfolio management is a component of the broader portfolio.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will work collaboratively with Credit Product Underwriters.
  • You will monitor specified credits through quarterly compliance testing, financial statement spreading, covenant compliance monitoring, and other credit services.
  • You will participate in writing commitment reports for specified loans and present loan renewals to management.
  • Prepare quarterly asset quality reports for management review on credits showing negative trends or some level of stress.
  • Proactively manage required client financial and documentation reporting requirements to keep exceptions below the internal monthly target.
  • You will monitor specified credits to ensure proper cash flow, financial stability of the borrower and its principals, and compliance to loan covenants.
  • You will assist in solving complex/sensitive inquires of customers through extensive research to resolve problems/errors.
  • You will provide credit training to Accelerated Career Track participants.

ANALYTICAL THINKING: You approach a problem logically, systematically, and sequentially.

CREDIT APTITUDE: You examine your client’s creditworthiness to alleviate risk and make informed decisions.  

DETAIL ORIENTED:  You ensure accuracy and consistency in your financial charts, analysis, and calculations, as decision-makers assume your work to be correct and reliable, and they make decisions based on what you prepare and submit.

RELATIONSHIP BUILDER: You relate to any audience and build trust by leveraging strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity.

TECH SAVVY: You will use your solid knowledge of product delivery systems, online computer systems, and MS Office to navigate multiple systems.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years Credit Analysis/Credit Specialist experience, or completion of the internal RMDP training program and 1 year Credit Analysis/Specialist experience, or 9-11 years equivalent work related experience.
