Summary

As the Advisor Trust Services - Trust Officer II you will work closely with the ATS Team Lead, ATS Manager, ATS Sales Manager, Investment Manager, Specialty Asset Manager, external financial advisors and their associates, grantors and beneficiaries to define and implement trust requirements.  This position will act as a trusted advisor, finding and recommending the right financial solutions to help our high-net-worth clients grow, preserve, and protect their wealth is what you’ll do as an Advisor Trust Services - Trust Officer II

Job Description

The Advisor Trust Services - Trust Officer II is responsible for administering moderate to more complex account relationships within Advisor Trust Services.  Works closely with the ATS Team Lead, ATS Manager, ATS Sales Manager, Investment Manager, Specialty Asset Manager, external financial advisors and their associates, grantors and beneficiaries to define and implement trust requirements.  This may include, investment goals and objectives (if delegated), as well as legal and tax aspects of trusts. Provides administration of assigned trusts in accordance with the governing instrument, tax considerations and applicable state statutes, consistent with BOKF policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. Responsible for reviewing and managing all administrative matters, client satisfaction, risk mitigation, and account retention goals.  Generally, works independently with direction from manager.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will effectively manage and administers assigned trusts, ensure all initial and annual administrative reviews are completed on or before due date and all exceptions are cleared within required timeframe, proactively contacts advisors and/or clients at least annually, prior to annual review to obtain information necessary to complete review, ensure advisor has been in contact with the beneficiaries.
  • You will maintain effective systems and controls to ensure that administration activities for assigned trusts meet internal and external regulatory requirements by adhering to established compliance/risk management policies and procedures, maintaining knowledge of state and federal tax and fiduciary law, accounting principles, investment strategies and BOKF policies and procedures.
  • You will provide administration of assigned trusts in accordance with the governing instrument, tax considerations and applicable state statutes, consistent with BOKF policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • You will be responsible for reviewing and managing all administrative matters, client satisfaction, risk mitigation, and account retention goals. 

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and professional certification (JD, CTFA, CPA, CFA, CFP, etc); or post-graduate degree and 3-5 years of experience in Trust Administration related experience or equivalent work experience of 9-11 years.
