Job Description

As a Senior UX Designer, you design easy, accessible, and seamless experiences for all our BOKF digital products. Working on a team of digital product designers this role partners closely with product owners and managers to ensure all forecasted roadmap features are designed to meet user needs that drive business results. Working through the design process, from strategy, research, analysis, prototyping, testing, and delivery of final designs in an agile environment. The Senior UX Designer has a proven track record of designing high performing digital experiences and a demonstrated passion for digital design and user experience is critical for this role. This role influences and guide the digital experience design strategy for all digital channels.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will govern, evolve, train, and mentor team members on best practice and use cases for the Design System, stay up-to-date with current experience design methodologies, trends and techniques, recommend and research new best practices to continuously evolve the digital experience strategy through the lens of the brand.
  • You will work in a human-centered design team that integrates and supports multiple agile product teams acting as subject matter expert for experience design by providing advice and guidance, incorporate findings to create design recommendations for digital products, advocate for the users’ perspective while collaborating with Product Owners and Developers in agile product teams.
  • You will design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design recommendation and lead collaboration with business partners and project scrum teams on ideas, adhere to accessibility and inclusive design practices, ensure all work is performed in alignment with well documented, repeatable, efficient processes.
  • You will ensure that new platform usability is monitored and reviewed regularly and that material UI/UX improvements are suggested and communicated to product owners, stay up-to-date with current experience design methodologies, trends and technique.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an Associate’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in UX, UI, Digital Design or related field.

  • Fluency in Sketch/Figma, Abstract, Adobe design suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Familiarity with material io and human interface design systems
  • Experience working in an established atomic design system.
  • Staying up to date of the evolving digital world, in particular in the fields of product design and user experience
  • General understanding of experience analytics, usability testing methodologies, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to use data to inform design decisions and recommendations
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, design thinking, and consulting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists
  • Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including collaboration, teamwork, facilitation and negotiation
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • A customer-driven passion for excellence
  • Proficient in agile methodologies and iterative product development
  • Working knowledge of html, CSS, JS
