Job Description
The Corporate Card Sales Specialist is responsible for selling, growing, and maintaining business credit card relationships, including both our direct issuance and agent card products. This role involves partnering with Commercial Relationship Managers (C&I, Energy, Healthcare, CRE, Business Banking) and Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) as a Corporate Card sales and product expert, leading more complex sales efforts. Responsible for creating and implementing a Corporate Card sales training program and assisting in the evaluation of new products or enhancements, as well as new product rollouts and implementations.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will proactively partner with commercial relationship managers and Treasury Management Officers to review client lists, participate in loan renewals, and initiate prospecting methods.
- You will review current business or corporate card program trends and conduct portfolio analysis to identify additional product or spend opportunities.
- You will develop and deliver on sales goals and strategies through effective presentations, demonstrations, consultations, evaluations, and training, while tracking progress via spend volume reporting.
- You will act as a liaison between commercial customers and various departments to assist with and resolve unique, complex, or non-standard client processing requirements.
- You will provide training for commercial banking officers on corporate card and related cash management products.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, along with 3+ years’ relevant banking and Treasury Sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic Knowledge of Corporate Cards: Familiarity with Corporate Cards and related product delivery systems.
- Understanding of Cash Management Products: Basic theoretical knowledge of cash management products.
- General Knowledge of Bank Operations: Awareness of bank operations.
- Consultative Skills: Developing consultative skills to understand and address client needs.
- PC & Software Skills: Proficiency in using PCs and common software applications.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and deliver presentations.
- Data Analysis: Ability to analyze to identify growth opportunities.
- Sales Experience: Some experience or familiarity with selling products or services.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to solve business problems and provide workable solutions.
- Goal-Oriented: Strong commitment to achieving sales goals.
