Job Description

The Lead Developer, Analytics & Technology will play a crucial role for BOKFS institutional strategies and analytics. This position will be responsible for developing novel, advanced data-driven analytic solutions that will be key to the team’s ability to develop strategies, grow relationships, and drive revenue.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will develop a custom analytics suite, including various reports and analyses for portfolio performance, swaps, security purchases, investment planning, peer comparison, relative value/spread, and sector-specific studies.
• You will modernize the report-making process to allow for major growth.
• You will unify report development process to ensure consistency and integrated technology.
• You’ll track updates in key systems and sectors, collaborating with senior strategists to modify report assumptions based on market changes.
• You’ll establish a portfolio reporting process and educate portfolio analysts on the systems, processes, and standard procedures.
• You’ll support the wider fixed income sales and trading platform with various projects.
• You’ll establish and manage an internal database where sales and strategies can access portfolio reports, account assignments, and other pertinent documents.
• You’ll work with various teams including the Institutional Strategies and Analytics team, as well as members of BOKFS Institutional Sales and Trading and BOKFS leadership to manage projects. 
• You will supervise and coordinate additional staff resources.
• You will collaborate with BOKF Corporate IT to ensure alignment and compliance with best practices.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a business-related field with a minimum 15 years of related experience in increasingly responsible positions in the financial services industry.  MBA or equivalent, preferred.

• General understanding of fixed income sales and trading platforms and depository reporting requests.
• Proven outcomes in building out portfolio reporting, onboarding new systems and software.
• Experience navigating and working with corporate IT regulations and restrictions specifically at a financial institution.
• Experience developing internal and external websites/portals/platforms that can serve as a centralized source for many of the analytics and systems
• Bloomberg (API and Excel Add-in)
• The Yield Book (API, Add-in, and Classic Book)
• ZM Desk/Bond Edge/NIS/Bond Accelerator (or similar bond analytics engine)
• Microsoft Visual Studios
