Job Description

The BOKFS Product Manager will play a pivotal role in taking new Financial Risk Management (FRM) derivative products from requirements gathering to completion, acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external business partners. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects related to Openlink, collaborating closely with FRM teams and market risk departments to identify data needs, drive implementation, and manage change effectively.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather product requirements and create detailed specifications.
  • You will manage Openlink-related projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to timelines.
  • You will act as the main contact for Openlink, facilitating communication between internal teams and external partners.
  • You will work with Market Risk and FRM teams to document data requirements and align Openlink implementation with business needs.
  • You will coordinate with IT teams, business units, and ION to implement new features and changes in Openlink.
  • You will lead change management initiatives for Openlink, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or information technology and a minimum of 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proven experience working with ION Openlink, including Trade Management Process, or similar trading and risk management systems is essential.
  • Strong understanding of financial risk management principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of commodities and derivative products.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying databases and understanding of database management systems.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ to facilitate integration and customization of Openlink solutions.
  • Experience with system integration and workflow automation, particularly in integrating trading and risk management systems with other enterprise applications.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
  • Understanding of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their application in financial services.
  • Knowledge of APIs and web services to enable effective data exchange between systems.
  • Excellent project management skills with a proven record of successfully managing complex projects from start to finish.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to concisely articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and cooperation among stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to lead and influence others without direct authority.
