Job Description

Primarily researches and balances all Bankcard Exception items. Research is performed by pulling General Ledger reports and analyzing the credits and debits for card ownership using several different bank systems; frequently requires communicating with other departments to verify information, ask questions, and resolve issues.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will use your knowledge of debit cards and ATM cards to audit actions of business partners in relations to debit card issuance and maintenance.
  • You will communicate frequently with other internal departments to ask questions and/or verify information related to bankcard exception items.
  • You will analyze general ledger reports and use various banking systems to perform research in order to determine a resolution to the bankcard exception.
  • You will effectively manage risk by adhering to processes, procedures, and regulations regarding financial privacy.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through a completion of High School and 2 years working with monetary transactions in a banking environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Great interpersonal, verbal, and written skills are needed along with the ability to analyze and balance reports with debits and credits.  High level of knowledge of debit cards and ATM cards transactions, systems, and terminology.
