Job Description
The Director, Commercial Digital Solutions oversees the shared Commercial and Institutional digital strategy from conceptualization to post-launch assessment. Leveraging extensive internal and external stakeholder relationships, the Director delivers a technology strategy that simplifies client engagement activities, automates manual tasks and optimizes a client-centric engagement with clients at every touch point while maintaining operational efficiency and minimizing risk for the Bank.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will set the digital strategic vision across the Commercial Division for client facing products, collaborate with Enterprise and line of business leaders and partners to define and shape a digital vision and strategy to improve client experience and application performance.
- You will need to understand client needs and preferences based on direct client interaction, engage with LOB partners, and industry trends. This position will collaborate with supporting business areas to understand their respective units closely, while also being mindful of opportunities to create a better process and experience while incorporating change management best practices.
- You will drive the execution of the Commercial Digital roadmap and synthesize strategy and business requirements among a diverse set of stakeholders to help establish priorities and objectives.
- You will partner with IT and key stakeholders, manage prioritization of roadmap efforts and bring speed to results to ensure strong competitive positioning.
- You will manage other operational and risk aspects of the Commercial Strategies as assigned including but not limited to managing Risk and Control library and Business Continuity program.
Education & Experience Requirements
The required level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in a business or technology related field; 10+ years’ experience in product management/owner; and 8+ years of progressive related experience in a digital solutions environment developing strategies, managing major initiatives and delivering results within a complex, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated track record of success in leading large and complex cross functional, cross organizational business initiatives amidst ambiguity and change
- Ability to interact with colleagues at all levels, especially senior executives, work through influence across functional boundaries to achieve goals without direct control over resources. Deliver results while coaching and mentoring other team members
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus for strategic direction and roadmap initiatives
- Knowledge of commercial banking products and services to include: treasury management, commercial lending, trade finance and institutional wealth
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork; including the ability to foster/manage relationships across multiple departments and affiliates in all states
- Strong priority and time management, organization and multi-tasking skills to effectively handle projects in a fast-paced, high volume and deadline intensive environment
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills including database analysis, spreadsheet analysis, and research
- Comfort and experience in an agile methodology
- Advanced PC application skills including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and project management tools
