Job Description
As an Application Manager for Treasury Solutions, you will play a key role in partnering with our Treasury business to deliver high quality technical solutions. You will lead a team of talented IT professionals and manage a suite of applications that support our dynamic and mission critical Treasury operations. This role involves overseeing an active roadmap of projects to continue to advance our Treasury systems, as well as maintaining optimal performance for operations.

How You'll Spend Your Time
- You will collaborate closely with Treasury business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions and strategic roadmap work.
- You will lead and coach a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of growth, innovation and excellence.
- You will oversee the delivery and operations of Treasury applications, including working with cross-functional teams to ensure the applications in your area align and integrate with other business systems.
- You will utilize your system knowledge and leadership skills foster a collaborative and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, to ensure timely delivery of high-impact work.
- You will develop and maintain healthy relationships with external business partners and vendors to assist in contract negotiations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- You will manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery by the team and balancing priorities effectively.
Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Management, or a related field and 7-10 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Technology Roadmap/Lifecycle Leadership: leadership through all stages of technology solutions, from idea to execution to roadmap to retirement.
- Work Management Methodologies: Exposure to a variety of methodologies (agile, waterfall, etc) to keep teams coordinated and work progress transparent.
- Quality Advocate: Expertise in modern quality methodologies and advanced testing tools.
- Environment management: Skilled in managing multi-tier environments (dev, test, prod); and coordinating work efforts across systems
- Resilience Strategist: Adept at designing resilient solutions to mitigate operational risks (continuous monitoring and improvement, DR, etc).
- Standards Awareness: Well-versed in contemporary IT and IS standards and best practices.
- Analytical Thinker: Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to solve moderately to highly complex problems.
- Collaborative Leader: Enjoy working in teams and across departments to achieve business objectives, building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor and create raving fans. Flexible and adaptable to influence change.
- Time Management: Effective in planning and organizing work assignments for self and team members.
- Effective Communicator: Strong communication skills to represent oneself and the organization effectively.
- Relationship Builder: Proven ability to establish and maintain healthy working partnerships with team members, clients, vendors, and peers.
- Preferred Industry Knowledge: Preferred experience in banking, treasury, and payments industry processes.
- Preferred Integration Specialist: Preferred expertise in integrating diverse software and systems.
- Preferred Data Savvy: Preferred proficiency in reporting, analytics, and ensuring data integrity. Ability to leverage data for decision-making.
