Job Description

Primarily responsible for being the communications link between management of the assigned lines of business and the technology organization.  This position is responsible for ensuring the timely effective, efficient delivery of IT production functions, support, project execution and technical leadership to enable the lines of business to meet corporate strategic objectives.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will develop and implement information technology plans to support our strategic goals for specific lines of business.
  • You will make recommendations for system enhancements and procedure improvements.
  • You will maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of leading edge technologies and how they can be applied to business needs.
  • You will direct a professional staff that supports applications and systems used by the business unit.
  • You will provide management and technology guidance, project management, oversight and previous various reports to all levels of management.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Management, or related field and 8-10 years of directly related professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

SKILLS:

  • Extensive knowledge of technology based information resource management systems
  • Advanced knowledge of management information systems
  • Advanced management and project management skills
  • Advanced team building skills
  • Advanced experience with technology vendor management and contract negotiations
  • Ability to negotiate compromise and develop consensus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient PC skills including spreadsheets, word processors, and report writers and with an excellent working knowledge of software development tools
  • Good understanding of leading-edge technologies and how they are applied in a business environment
