Job Description

The IT Engineer III is an advanced-level position who oversees support of our storage infrastructure, both on-premises and in the cloud.  Contributing to strategy and improving systems that enable the business to operate effectively and maintain operational stability. The ideal candidate will have experience with Hitachi, Pure, and NetApp storage solutions. Experience with CommVault is a plus.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will manage and maintain storage systems, including Hitachi, Pure, and NetApp.
• You will provide support for on-premises and cloud storage environments.
• You will monitor storage performance and ensure optimal operation.
• You will troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues.
• You will implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.
• You will collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions.
• You will document storage configurations and procedures.
• You will provide on-call support as required.
 

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor’s degree in a technology field and/or 5+ years of related experience.   ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

• Proven experience with Hitachi, Pure, and NetApp storage systems.
• Familiarity with CommVault is a plus.
• Strong understanding of storage protocols and technologies.
• Experience with AWS Cloud storage solutions, including S3, EBS, and Glacier.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
