Job Description

The Incentive Compensation Manager is responsible for leading and administering incentive compensation programs for several lines of business within BOK Financial. This role manages the implementation of incentive compensation plans including working with line of business leaders and the HR Compensation team. The Incentive Compensation Manager performs quality control measures to ensure a high level of accuracy of incentive calculations and payout amounts while ensuring timely delivery to meet payroll deadlines.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will maintain and administer various complex incentive compensation calculations. This includes documenting processes, providing timely and accurate payment information to the Payroll department, and adhering to strict payroll timelines by utilizing incentive compensation tools and systems.
  • You will manage the on boarding/implementation of new incentive compensation calculations including UAT (test, logging defects, etc.).  You will also develop and deliver trainings for the use of incentive compensation tools/systems.
  • You will lead a team by providing guidance and expectations related to training, development and coaching. You will anticipate, recognize and resolve issues. You will maintain a performance management structure designed to maximize the productivity level per employee and for the department while working with direct reports to monitor workloads to ensure proper load balance amongst employees that supports the needs of the division. You will motivate, influence, lead and develop staff to ensure quality service is consistently provided to internal clients.
  • You will consult with direct leaders, the HR Compensation team, and the Payroll department on complex issues; while working with data management team to triage and address any issues with incentive compensation calculations, tools and/or systems. You will manage the issue resolution process for responding to escalated issues and/or questions concerning incentive compensation calculations.
  • You will use prior experience and understanding of best practices and applicable laws to closely monitor processes and determine more efficient processes regarding incentive compensation calculations. You will ensure the fair and equitable application of processes and structures.
  • You will develop and maintain stringent quality control process and measures that ensures the accuracy of all incentive compensation payments.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a ­­­­­­­­­­­­Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Math, or related field of study and ­­8+ years of directly related experience ­or equivalent combination of education and experience. Incentive compensation administration experience is preferred.
