Job Description

The Security Operations Engineer maintains access control/alarm systems and video surveillance equipment to include break fixes, scheduled maintenance, and discovering deficiencies that need resolved. Performs and facilitates all annual alarm testing and assists management with leading security scope of work on all project’s footprint wide. Also, manages relationships with vendors and other lines of business. Scope requires knowledge of IT infrastructure as partnership with our IT partners to ensure equipment is communicating appropriately is a daily task.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will manage and maintain the DNA Fusion application and Verkada Command website.
• You will service and support cameras, alarm systems, intercoms, and other security equipment.
• You will schedule and conduct annual alarm testing across all locations.
• You will log and respond to technical security break/fix tickets.
• You will maintain vendor relationships and stay current on new security technologies.
• You will collaborate with the Security Systems Manager on security projects and site visits organization wide.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through an associate degree and 3-5 years experience in bank security or 5-7 years in equivalent technical security operations. 

• Advanced knowledge of bank security and safety procedures
• Thorough programming knowledge of various access control applications and alarm systems software
• Proficient in multi-site cloud-based cameras platform
• Advanced knowledge in IT network security programming and communication
• Must meet bank criminal background investigation standards
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient PC and Microsoft Office software skills
