Job Description

The Senior Community & Employee Engagement Specialist is primarily responsible for development, execution and ongoing management of the company wide BOKF employee United Way campaigns including overseeing campaign tracking and communicating campaign results to executive leadership team and United Way administrative offices in each of the bank’s markets. Additionally, this position is also responsible for management and coordination of the bank’s sponsorship assets and entertainment venues in Tulsa for customer/prospect entertainment and employee engagement maximizing all sponsorships to their fullest potential to engage customers and employees while generating a positive public perception of BOKF.  Lastly, this position serves as a Corporate Community Relations representative on various internal and external community task forces and strategic planning committees.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will be responsible for managing the company-wide BOKF employee United Way campaigns, which includes developing strategies, tracking progress, and communicating results to the executive leadership team and United Way offices in each market. It also requires collaboration with various internal resources, planning budgets, solving campaign resource challenges, working with senior HRBPs to identify campaign chairs, and providing proactive recommendations on employee giving trends and campaign implementation.       
  • As a representative of BOKF, you will foster and manage partnerships with local organizations to enhance employee engagement, while also participating in various community task forces and strategic planning committees to voice BOKF’s role in key community initiatives.
  • You will work closely with the Community Engagement Specialist on some projects, tasks, and events throughout the year.  

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in business or business-related field and 5-7 years' work experience in public relations, marketing, or related field; or 15+ years of equivalent work experience working with executive and senior management teams. 

  • Highly creative and innovative with the ability to generate ideas and develop them into integrated C&EE strategies with flawless execution.
  • Strong time management, organization and multitasking skills to effectively handle projects in a fast paced, high volume and deadline intensive environment.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills needed for project development and special events.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to build relationships across multiple departments.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles for project management and budgeting.
  • Excellent PC skills with spreadsheet, word processing, website HTML, and presentation software.
  • Extensive knowledge of community relations, public relations, and communications.
  • Ability to handles the most complex assignments and projects independently.
