Job Description

The Strategic Content Creator develops and executes strategic content that supports the company’s business goals across internal and external audiences. This role creates high-quality, audience-focused content that positions the company as an industry leader and trusted advisor. It partners with leaders across business lines and corporate functions to shape messaging aligned with enterprise priorities and supports talent attraction and employee brand initiatives. Strong editorial judgment, creativity and collaboration are essential.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will create compelling engaging content across all digital and print channels.
• You will work with internal partners on strategic efforts to highlight company subject matter experts through timely thought leadership content development.
• You will serve as final stage proofing and quality control for all marketing communications

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field and 5-8 years’ experience in B2B and B2C content writing, editing and proofreading. Experience with financial services a plus; or equivalent combination of education/experience.

• Expert-level writing and editing skills, strong knowledge of AP Style and digital best practices.
• Ability to craft strategic messages aligned with business objectives.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Experience with content management systems, editorial workflows and digital publishing tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms. 
• Ability to apply search engine optimization principles and adapt content for digital discoverability.
• Comfortable using metrics and analytics to inform content strategy.
• Skilled in creating narratives that resonate with diverse audiences and strengthen brand positioning.
• Ability to quickly pivot messaging and content strategies in response to evolving business priorities or market conditions.
