Job Description

The Technical Analyst III job family delivers superior services, acting as a liaison between the line of business and IT. The focus includes delivering new user experiences, enhancements, and modernization initiatives. Using an Agile methodology, in a highly cross-functional and collaborative environment, they work closely with stakeholders and the development team on designing new features and functionality for native mobile apps, web applications, while integrating vendor solutions on the client-facing commercial digital platform, Exchange. The mission is to design, build, implement, and support user-centric solutions, leveraging modern technology while ensuring security and scalability. The Technical Analyst creates plans, analyzes and recommends solutions, and implements technology solutions that solve problems which have an organizational impact, as well as provides day-to-day support for complex applications systems.

How You'll Spend Your Time

• You will lead collaboration across the Agile scrum team and stakeholder roles to understand problems, identify opportunities and turn feature requests from discovery to production
• You will consult with stakeholders and team members to ensure solutions properly balance the trade-offs between business objectives, user experience, technical considerations, and schedule
• You will decompose initiatives into smaller work items, Epics, that can be worked by the development team
• You will write user stories and acceptance criteria, lead refinement session, and coordinate with designers and the development team to define the planned solution and ensure a shared understanding for a feature
• You will analyze system dependencies to identify gaps and effectively manage risk and issues related to your assignments
• You will analyze the problem statements and work collaboratively with technical leads and your scrum team to create recommended solutions to implement that bring value to the business and users on the platform
• You will be a subject matter expert on assigned applications and platforms and use domain expertise to consult on related decisions, analyze issues in various environments, and share knowledge, and make recommendations that drive results on projects
• You will perform deployment and release validation, monitoring, and reporting to ensure features perform as expected, and to identify any issues or opportunities regarding user experience or system performance
• You will be responsible for planning out and preparing stories for refinement by an Agile development team.
• You will perform business process modeling (includes logical modeling, data retention, and business process modeling) for complex projects.
• You will perform job scheduling responsibilities including writing, reading, and troubleshooting job plans.
• You will develop simple to moderate batch scripts & stored procedures and provide technical requirements/specifications.
• You will collaborate with vendors, Line of Business, Infrastructure, Operations, & Core Systems teams to build functional requirements for medium to complex projects.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 3-5 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience. Single application data flows across multiple applications

• Software integration, system integration, and technology used
• RDBMS principles and tools
• Tiered environments (e.g. development, testing, UAT, production, DR)
• Application disaster recovery
• SQL Queries
• IT and IS standards and concepts
• Conducting fit gap analysis
• Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to provide resolution to problems of a moderate complexity.
• Enjoy working in teams and across departments to achieve business objectives while building strong relationships to become a trusted advisor and create raving fans. Influence change by being flexible and adaptable.
• Project Management Methodology (basic framework, phases, artifacts, process, and project funding)
• Ability to effectively plan time, method, manner and sequence of own work assignments
• Agile, waterfall, or other project management strategy
• Oral and written communication skills to effectively represent self and BOKF
• Demonstrated ability to establish and build healthy working partnerships with clients, vendors and peers.
• Jira & Confluence for Agile story writing and feature documentation
• Service & Systems integration experience
• Solutions that include hybrid architecture that utilizes on-prem & cloud resources
• SQL Databases, SQL Server, and proficiency with complex SQL queries
