Job Description

The Technical Analyst IV is responsible for delivering superior services acting as a liaison between Financial Systems, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and Accounting with a focus on accurate, timely and trusted data sets. Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry-wide business process and analysis practices and organizational policies and procedures. Defining and performing analysis, design, programming, planning, implementation, and supporting of some of critical systems software and procedures with a focus on our long term technology road map which require technical and systems knowledge.  The Technical Analyst manages plans, organizes, and controls projects which have an organizational impact as well as provides day-to-day support for complex applications systems in Finance, Accounting and other key areas.

How You'll Spend Your Time

  • You will write business requirements, analyze data, develop solutions, test results, and implement solutions into a set of Oracle platforms, both on-prem and in Oracle Cloud.
  • You will contribute to the technology strategy, architecture methodologies in the Financial Systems team.  In this position you will identify technology gaps and present recommendations for remediation and act as project consultant across team’s project portfolio.
  • You will mentor other analysts by providing oversight of projects or day to day support efforts.
  • You will have advanced technical understanding of single application data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMS principles, tiered environments, Cloud environments, and well-developed project management skills.
  • You will design and execute Disaster Recovery processes.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of (a/an) Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or related field of study and / or 5-7 years of directly related experience in Technical Analysis, Data Analytics, or Bank Operations or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Advanced Technical understanding of:
    • Complex data flows across multiple applications
    • SQL Queries
    • `Software integration, system integration, and technology used
    • Oracle RDBMS principles and tools
    • Tiered environments (e.g. development, testing, UAT, production, DR)
    • Application disaster recovery
    • Leveraging knowledge of Cloud environments
    • IT and Information Security standards and concepts
    • Banking industry and processes
  • Solid conceptual thinking and analytical skills
  • Well-developed Project Management Skills
  • Solid Collaborative skills 
  • Would prefer:
    • Enterprise Planning and Budgeting
    • Oracle DBMS is a plus
    • Oracle Data Integrator is a plus
    • Oracle Cloud (OCI) or OFSAA experience is a plus
    • APEX Development is a plus
    • Agile Methodology is a plus
    • Banking and Accounting experience is a plus
    • Windows/Linux/WebLogic experience is a plus
    • ESSBASE/Hyperion experience is a plus
